James Island Real Estate News:  Rescue Plan May Be a Little Too Late

 

It’s coming, but will it help? The long awaited federal plan to get up to $1,000,000,000,000 (one trillion) in loans flowing in to consumers hands is ready to be launched. Will the TALF really help?  Will the TALF really help James Island Real Estate Sales? 

The Term Asset Backed Securities Loan Facility or TALF is aimed at providing money for loans for cars, college, credit cards and small business. With people losing jobs or fearing they might lose them many may be reluctant to borrow for big purchases. 

Are consumers so weakened that the TALF will end up looking like a solution to the last years problem? Maybe the situation has moved from a credit crises to an economy disabled by the aftereffects of that crisis.
