The first annual Surf Run Heal 5K and Paddleboard Race is happening May 5th 2009. The proceeds will go to the Surfers Healing Benefits, a surf camp for children with autism.
Last year’s event booked out with 150 kids within 2 days. This year’s sign up is May 15th and will surely be filled within days.
The fundraiser is an all day family street festival and will take place from 9 am to 4 pm. Events will include face painting, dunk tank, cupcake decorating, climbing wall, jump castles, artisans food, and live music!
