Folly Beach Real Estate News: Zoning and Vacation Rentals Dominate Folly Beach Council Meeting

The Folly Beach Council conducted its monthly workshop on April 14^th addressing the new zoning recommendation from the City Planning Commission. Folly Beach real estate will surely be affected by any zoning changes and/or adjustments.

Vacation Rentals and overlay districts were also big topics, but legislation concerning vacation rentals was absent from the new codes.

Major discussion developed during review of sections 163 and 164 of the new codes. In some cases existing districts have been removed.
