How do I become a referral agent?
How does the referral program work?
In order to share in a commission in South Carolina, you must be licensed under a registered SC Broker. To take any part of a commission without an active license is grounds for you and the other Broker to lose his/her license. Your split will be up to 70/30 of gross referrals (see Referral Service Agreement below).
How much will this cost me?
You will no longer have to pay those high board fees, MLS dues, errors and omissions insurance, desk cost, franchise fees, etc. Your only cost now is to pay your annual LLR license renewal fee and our low annual administrative fee of $49.
Who is eligible?
- Anyone who presently holds a SC Real Estate License.
- To remain eligible, you have to keep your educational requirements up-to-date.
- You must pay your annual license renewal fee to the LLR.
- You must pay your annual $49 administrative fee.
How do I transfer my license?
- Print a copy of the LLR Form-200 (Click Here)
- Present Form-200 to Jay Tracey for Signature.
- Have your present Broker sign the LLR Form-200.
- Review and sign the Referral Services Agreement. (Click Here). This form provides valuable information on how you will be paid and will highlight all responsibilities.
- Take or mail the completed Form-200 and a $10 to the LLR to have your license transferred.
